Editorial Independence & Governance
The Journal of Contemporary Economics is published by Republic of Srpska Association of Economists “SWOT”, Bosnia and Herzegovina, a professional publishing organization providing administrative and technical support for the journal.
Editorial independence is a core principle of JCE. All editorial decisions—including acceptance, revision, or rejection of manuscripts—are made solely by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board. The publisher does not influence these decisions in any way.
The journal adheres to a transparent, rigorous peer review process. Manuscripts are evaluated on the basis of academic merit, originality, and relevance, without interference from the publisher. Reviewers are independent experts in their fields, and the Editor-in-Chief makes final decisions based on their recommendations.
The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board operate autonomously and are responsible for all editorial policies, including peer review guidelines, ethical standards, and publication decisions. This separation ensures that JCE maintains the highest standards of scholarly integrity and objectivity.
